Terms of Service
Effective 21 September 2026.
These are the rules for using StudyWith. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Your account
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure, and for what happens through your StudyWith account. One person, one account — do not share yours or use someone else's.
You must be at least 13 years old to use StudyWith.
2. Using the app
Please do not:
- Break, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app or its servers.
- Cheat — including modifying the app, forging requests, or manipulating coins, items, or study time.
- Harass other people, or use your display name or avatar to impersonate someone else or to post content that is hateful, threatening, or unlawful.
- Use the app for anything illegal.
We may suspend or close an account that does any of these things.
3. Coins and items
Coins, clothing, and other items in StudyWith are earned by studying. They are a part of the app, not property: they have no cash value, they cannot be bought, sold, traded, or transferred outside the app, and they are not redeemable for money. We may adjust, rebalance, or remove items as the app develops.
4. Your content
Your display name and your choice of avatar are yours. By using them in StudyWith you give us permission to show them to other people in the same study room — that is what makes the room work. We do not claim ownership of them.
5. Our content
The app itself — its artwork, characters, code, and name — belongs to us or to the people who licensed it to us. Please do not copy or redistribute it.
6. Availability
StudyWith is offered as-is. We do not promise it will always be available, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue it — or any part of it — at any time. If we shut the service down entirely, we will give reasonable notice in the app.
7. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
8. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, StudyWith is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, including lost study time, lost coins, or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use StudyWith after a change means you accept it.
